Your Privacy, Protected
VisibilityPulse is built on a zero-retention, privacy-first architecture.
Zero Server Storage
We do not store any audit results, URLs, or user data on our servers. All audit history and settings are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage. We have no access to this data.
What We Analyze
When you submit a URL for analysis, our edge function fetches publicly available information from that URL (HTML, headers, robots.txt, sitemap.xml) to compute visibility signals. This fetch is stateless — we do not log the URL or results.
API Keys
If you provide an API key (e.g., Gemini API key), it is stored only in your browser's localStorage. It is sent directly to the respective API endpoint and never passed through our servers.
Analytics
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts. We may use privacy-respecting edge analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that do not collect personally identifiable information.
Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies. A single localStorage key (vp_disclaimer_dismissed) is used to remember your consent to the disclaimer banner.
Third-Party Services
Our audit engine makes server-side fetch requests to the URLs you submit. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party websites.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
